Jupiters rings
Jupiter's magnetic dipole is 20,000 times stronger than the Earth's. The reason being because Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system. It has twice the mass of all the planets put together. Jupiter's mass is 318 times more than the Earth's mass, but 1,000 times smaller than the sun. It also has no solid surface. Jupiter is made of gas. That is how it got its nick name, Gas Giant. If I where on Jupiter I would weigh 208 lbs. On earth I weigh 90 lbs. It also has 63 satilites and 16 moons. Some of the moons are six miles in diameter or bigger. From the naked eye it appears to be orange, red, white and brown. These colors are constantly swirling and churning. Jupiter has a red oval it is called the Great Red Spot. It also has four faint rings. The names of the rings are Halo, Main, and the Gossamer rings. Jupiter is also one of the brightest objects in the sky. Only the moon and Venus are brighter.
